Like most ABC Cinemas, ABC Shaftesbury offers quality mainstream films on its two screens. The theatre itself is a bit grotty and in need of a major redecorate, but it's centrally located and just far enough from Leicester Square to perhaps find tickets for a weekend screening. The theatre also occasionally hosts previews.
