The Africa Book Centre was founded in 1963 with its aim being "to provide public education about Africa, and to provide a centre where Africans in Britain and people interested in Africa can meet". Books pertaining to Africa are sold on the upper floor, and beautiful African artefacts can be purchased on the lower floor.
