A wonderful find that you might not have stumbled upon otherwise. Cheap, delicious Iranian food is the best alternative to the Chinese restaurants on nearby Queensway. The dismal facade may read "kebabs", but the inside of this family Iranian restaurant is charming. Persian rugs and a wood-burning oven lend warmth to a simple dining room. Huge portions of meat and buttered rice pilaf, stews, dips and homemade breads are all under £10, and many of the main dishes cost between £5-11.
