The quiet is conspicuous, especially when you leave the din of Leicester Square outside. But it's the stately treatment at Apex that is a treat in itself. The modern-Brit spread doesn't get any better with Gresham duck and Fondant Potatoes, Wood Pigeon on Foie Gras Terrine, and Berry Crumble with Cream.
