Betjeman's has a light and bright interior and in the evening is full of City workers unwinding after a day at the office. The atmosphere can be quite buzzy, especially late in the evenings but, to all intents and purposes, it is mainly an after-work bar. It is comfortable and the drinks menu is really quite comprehensive, including several wines, champagnes and cocktails.. There is an informal dress code: you might not be thrown out, but you'd probably feel very out of place if you turned up in your jeans and trainers. Children under 17 not admitted.
