Widely touted as London's oldest Jewish eatery, Blooms is more family restaurant than Kosher deli. It has a faithful following, which, given its location, is hardly surprising. The decor is old-fashioned and faded, with interesting murals of Jewish feasts and pristine waiters in white tuxedos. Old recipe Kosher dishes are on offer, including Chicken Soup, Latkes (Jewish pancakes) and Gefilte Fish, and all are carefully prepared. The staff at Blooms can also cater for special occasions such as Barmitzvahs.
