Owned by University College London and, hence, popular with local students, this fringe theatre has an all-year-round programme of visiting theatre, dance, music concerts and opera. There are also occasional in-house productions and a three-month season of student productions. Small and intimate - it has a capacity of just 560 seating and an additional 35 standing - there is a real family atmosphere to the shows, and, if you're lucky enough to be sitting in the front row, you'll almost be able to smell the performers.
