This is a very cosy pub, located just off Kensington High Street, with friendly staff and a regular clientele of locals and businesspeople. The warm interior is large and spacious, and in the winter months a coal fire blazes at the rear. At the back of the pub is a cooler, lighter, non-smoking conservatory area. Food is served midday-2.30pm and 6pm-9.30pm Monday-Saturday. The menu is excellent, including dishes such as the tasty and speedily prepared steak and brie pie at around £6.
