This West End seafood stalwart is ideal for pre or post-theatre dining and is in fact markedly quieter between 8p and 10p. If you want good seafood prepared simply, then this is the place to go for great Monkfish Medallions, succulent Herb-Encrusted Salmon on a Tomato Linguine, Langoustines with homemade mayonnaise, or tuna seared to rare perfection. The restaurant is clean and tiled in pristine white. Pass by the fish counter though and head towards the rear of the restaurant, where the canteen, flanked by a Noah's Ark like wooden wall and set up with reclaimed wooden tables, is the perfect place for a superior fish and chip supper or a half-pound bowl of prawns with Thai Consommé. Better still though, Cafe Fish is excellent value for money.
