Once you've actually weaved your way through the back streets to find it, you can chill out in this snug and incredibly popular vegetarian cafe. Friendly attendance is offered by hip, grungy waitresses. Soya hot chocolate and soya cappuccinos are served, as well as a selection of freshly-squeezed organic juices. However, if you want alcohol, you'll have to go elsewhere - the premises are unlicensed. Sit upstairs if you want a smoke-free environment or stay downstairs and peruse the papers. Cooking is of the wholesome vegetarian variety and vegans will have plenty to cheer about too. Main dishes are cosmopolitan and uncomplicated - falafel, soups, shepherd's pie minus the meat, salads, mushroom burgers, lentil bake, or pumpkin and potato crumble.
