At this Covent Garden shop, the centre piece - and only décor - is a big table where all the different shoes are on display. At the back of the space are strangely shaped metal stools for customers to sit on when they try on shoes. The majority of Spanish label Camper's shoes are made of leather in various colors, and they often have old-fashioned, classic styles. Prices are on the high side, but the shoes - trainers, boots, chunky-soled Mary Janes and the like - are beautifully made and are quite different to those offered by other shoe shops. Camper also repairs their own shoes; simply take them to any branch.
