Established over 20 years ago on the site of an old merchandise warehouse, Cannons boasts high vaulted ceilings, tons of space and over 200 classes a week. Membership includes use of a spacious mixed spa with a hydrotherapy pool, mosaic-tiled steam room, sauna and riverfront relaxation area. Facilities include three squash courts; seven gyms - including one for women only; a climbing wall; three dance studios; three swimming pools; a sports injury clinic and on-site physiotherapy and massage. Classes 'for mind and body' incorporate everything from spinning to T'ai chi. A nutritionist, Indian head-masseuse, hairdressers and personal trainers are also available. Membership prices are quoted on appointment.
