This Conran restaurant - ostensibly Italian, but essentially that Conranesque brand of Mediterranean/Italian/Modern British - is very popular, especially with London's business fraternity. Cantina del Ponte is one of the more reasonably priced Conran restaurants, and cuisine is characterised by fine ingredients, matched by fine presentation. Quality shoves invention into second place when it comes to meals, but it's all wrapped up in chic, modern decor. The dining room has attractive murals, and there's a canopy outside so you can admire the view of the Thames despite unreliable British weather. Dishes include a good selection of pizzas and house wine. Attentive service guarantees a fine meal.
