Cibo makes for a pleasant break away from the frenetic activity of central London. Light, marble walls provide the backdrop for this rather cramped restaurant. Its clientele is varied, but is a little older than at many restaurants of this kind. Not to mention a little richer – on a weekend Rolls Royces and Bentleys dominate the street outside the restaurant! It serves excellent Italian food - but at a cost. Cibo's has recently come through a lull, when restaurant critics were queuing up to condemn the venue, but the customers kept coming and it appears that the manager has heeded some of the advice – with both service and cooking being improved.
