This relaunched vegan restaurant produces a sumptuous lunchtime buffet spread. Bizarrely, you are charged according to the weight of the food. Country Life has gone all out to provide more health-promoting services. Cookery and nutrition classes are run and a resident GP takes appointments and consultations. A first-rate wholefood store is located at the same address. Head chef Eramus Resch creates an à la carte evening menu where you can feast on tofu and spinach soup, seitan fillet Stroganoff, basmati risotto and finish off with Toffuti ice-cream or a Viennese strudel. No alcohol is sold.
