This is a large smart city pub, on the eternally popular and thriving Portobello Road. The Duke of Wellington is spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating spread throughout, and was allegedly once visited by the Prince of Wales. The pub is a haven for a variety of local characters during the evenings, packed (of course) with shoppers and tourists on market days, and is definitely one of the best pubs in the area. Food is served 9:30a-11p M-Sa and 11:30a-10:30p Su, and the menu includes pasta dishes and typical pub fare, as well as a variety of sandwiches and baguettes.
