The Duke's Head is a large pub sitting right on the picturesque Putney Embankment, within full view of Putney Bridge. Inside, it is spacious and attractively furnished and there are two big-screen TVs for sports fans and table football for those in a more active mood. During the day the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed but during the evening The Duke's Head becomes busy with a young crowd. Photo-boards hung on the walls show past scenes of drunken debauchery, including one of Noel Gallagher. A sumptuous dining area with a roaring log fire lies to the rear of the pub, overlooking the River Thames through an expanse of high and wide windows.
