The Engineer has earned itself a well-deserved reputation as North London's top gastro-pub. That new specimen of wonder pubs, where you get far more than a gutful of beer, is a good bet for modern British cuisine, often with a Mediterranean slant. In fine weather punters can enjoy the fresh outdoors in the lovely garden. Book a table. Primrose Hill is a beautiful area and you've now got the perfect excuse to visit. The menu changes fortnightly - with bruschetta, artichoke salad, prosciutto, feta, beef and risotto with parmesan shavings, all appearing regularly. A huge plus point is that all their meat is free range and organic.
