The simple, rather ordinary appearance of Enoteca belies the excellence of the food. But then why should culinary excellence be wrapped in pomp and splendour? Far better to experience this understated restaurant and concentrate on the cuisine. Dishes such as roast mallard with quince preserve are produced with such mastery that you'll rue the years wasted before finding this place. The menu also offers thoughtful suggestions as to the best wines to accompany each dish.
