Ahh…India! For all ye souls looking for that delicious flavor of curry, or the juicy chicken dishes, your destination has arrived in the form of this warm and welcoming restaurant. The food is cooked in a healthy way here...you won't find the stuff swimming in oil. The aromas waft out the kitchen tantalizingly, enticing you as you settle into your seat. Begin your culinary journey with the famous Onion Bhajees, which bring to mind memories of the streets in India. Move onto Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken, which Londoners can't seem to get enough of! Vegetarians can have a ball – they are well taken care of with a good selection of dishes. Wind up with the sinful Gulab Jamun or Matka Kulfi (Indian ice cream with saffron sauce, pistachios and almonds). The wine list is decent, though rather out of place.
