They say there's Latin spirit in everyone and you can certainly imagine Havana dragging it out of even the most dour Brit. Dazzlingly bright and always cheery, the Havana bar is, surprise, surprise, a Cuban-themed restaurant, and it definitely brings a touch of colour to often austere Mayfair. Not that much eating gets done, aside from a few plates of tapas (which is of excellent quality) - most people are here to guzzle cocktails and, more importantly, to dance. And why not? With a mind-boggling array of drinks and a mixture of Latin sounds ranging from Salsa to Cuban musicians in the style of Ry Cooder (don't expect any Ricky Martin), it would be fool-hardy not to. And, if you're worried about your lack of rhythm showing you up, there are even Salsa lessons on offer, so you can shimmy with the best of them.
