In the family business for some 40 odd years, the folks at Fino's know their stuff. It would be dismissed as just another one of the many Italian joints that populate London, but for its rare assortment of dishes, such as Saltimbocca alla Romana, Hot Salt Beef and Dover Sole, the proof of which is in the eating. For those who don't prefer to experiment, there's the usual range of pastas; the Fettuccine with Pesto or Tagliatelle Carbonara seem to be particularly in demand. The wine list is decent enough, with an Italian twist. The ambiance is light and free, without pretence – good for a casual meal.
