This old theatre, built in the mid-1920s, has been showing the The Woman in Black for the past 13 years and seems to be destined to show here forever. The show is a chilling thriller, and it makes a good change from the musicals that you'll find in surrounding theatres. The Fortune Theatre seats 432 people but has a seriously tiny foyer, and unfortunately there's no wheel chair access at the moment. There are plans, however, to alter the building to allow for this facility.
