Located in the heart of Soho, this one-time gay bar is now popular with people of every sexual orientation. And it's not just the people that are varied either: with a seventies style interior, some very random paintings, a fish tank and purple settees, it's in a world of its own and loving it. The bar upstairs plays funky jazz and commercial house music, and a license for a club downstairs is coming through soon. You can grab some breakfast or lunch on the top floor in the day, but at night the place is more of a hang out for a largely 18-35-year-old arty crowd. It gets packed in the evenings as it's relatively cheap to get into (£6 on Thu-Sat after 10.30pm) and the late license means it's open until 3am (except on Sundays). You pay the price in other ways though – a beer's just shy of £3.50 and rather delicious cocktails come in at £6.50 each.
