If you like to experiment with your tastes for food, take a seat at The French Table. Chic and shiny, with attentive, though rather stiff service, the place has its patrons clamoring for more. An oft-changing menu recently featured an aperitif of Mille-feuille of Panfried Foie Gras, a main course of Roast Plaice with Leek Tatin. It may sound delicious on paper, but this is not a place for those with set dining preferences. However, folks have been heard to rave about the piece de resistance, Black Olive and Herb Bread de Provence. Beware of the prices though – the place is known to be rather rough on the pocketbook.
