Fresh 'n' Funky is one of London's most successful and longest-running rhythm and blues club nights. Now, in its 10th year, its popularity is reflected by the huge queues that create a roadblock every week. The clientele read like the Who's Who of the rhythm and blues world, including artists such as Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Puff Daddy, Mase and Brownstone, to name but a few. Fresh 'n' Funky has always aimed to make rhythm and blues accessible to everyone, and its cosmopolitan following reflects this diversity. Dress code: no trainers; Admission: £3 before 11pm and members, £5 thereafter.
