Affiliated to the well-known Fridge club, the Fridge Bar is found on two levels. The upstairs bar is long and narrow with simple lighting and a laid back atmosphere. Downstairs is a small basement club with a similarly relaxed vibe and DJs spinning roots reggae on Monday; ska, mambo and calypso on Tuesday; hip hop and drum 'n' bass on Wednesday; and R&B on Thursday. Weekend clubs include the Funky Bunker and Get Loose - which features 70s, 80s and 90s soul. Drinks are the usual fare and the clientele is mixed. Many meet up here on their way to somewhere else, but others just choose to spend the entire night grooving away downstairs. It's a good spot for any up-all-nighters too, as it's open till quite late on the weekends. Saturdays feature the Escape from Samsara after party, continuing the previous night's revelries at the Fridge Club.
