The Garage usually attracts a fun-loving and up-for-it crowd, which accounts for most of its pulling-power. Downstairs is usually home to the students and is suitably skuzzy-looking, while the upstairs is smaller and happier. On Fridays, there's Satellite, an Indie club night with 60's pop, punk and pub prices. Club V, on alternate Saturdays, is the Garage's excellent gay and lesbian night.
