Some figures show that around 5% of London population is homosexual making this city one of the gay capitals of the world. The full acceptance of a cosmopolitan city like London towards people diversity and their way of expression has contributed in a fast growing gay scene with a flourishing business around cafes, bars, clubs and nightlife events.


Most popular gay areas are around Soho, Clapham and Vauxhall where most of bars and clubs can be found although communities are rather spread out in London.


The traditional Gay Pride annual event is unmissable with thousands of gay and lesbians marching through the streets of London in a parade formation.
