The Delicatessen da Giuliano is a little bit of Italy in the heart of Putney High Street. This colourful delicatessen provides genuine Italian wine, meats, home-made pasta, cheeses, sauces and many other delicacies. The service is friendly and quick, and more often than not some skilful guitar playing by the staff will enliven your visit! They also do a delicious line in take-away food. The take-away menu includes sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes (about £3 apiece), and the black spaghetti with prawns is particularly recommended. Cakes for special occasions can be made to order.
