Allegedly the 'dark heart of Soho' where variety is evidently the spice of life, Gossips has been running club nights for over 20 years. A bigger variation from night to night is hard to come by. Monday relives those 'Electric Dreams' with eighties synthpop and new wave classics. Tuesday's 'Malice Underground' is for the goth-indie following with DJ Ben-Alexander and DJ Bat, whereas Wednesday's '5Live' is a talent showcase for new bands. Thursdays offer a darker mix of electronic music at 'Club Noir' and Fridays have to share the love between three alternating club nights: 'Club Tenebrae' for divinely dark gothic divas, while absolutely anything goes at 'It's On', and if that doesn't give you enough scope, you can get down with the best of them at 'Baby Blowup' to orgasmic pop, sixties r'n'b, northern soul, gritty grooves, dancefloor jazz, freaky psychedelia or a live band. Saturday is DJ rock 'Decadence' in the extreme, and after all that, Sunday is a much-needed day of rest...
