This is a stylish Italian in Little Venice, courtesy of the brilliant restaurant group The Red Pepper (which also runs restaurants White Onion in Islington and Purple Sage in Marylebone). Well-heeled locals swarm to this unpretentious, yet comfortable, eatery for the great cooking and warm ambience—the cosy dining room is decorated in neutral colours with exposed brick walls. You will find the menu more adventurous than typical Italian, but the clientele here have discerning taste. The Risotto with Calves' Liver, venison, polenta and brilliant homemade pastas are all worthy of the best Italian palate; in fact, this is a cheaper River Cafe.
