This Davy's bar is divided into two sections. The first is typical of this chain of bar, with wood furnishings and port barrels, but walk a little further and you will enter a large, carpeted restaurant with large windows overlooking a beautiful fountain. The clientele range in age and profession, but are generally those who work in the area and come to either have a nice meal in the bistro or just have a drink in the cosy surroundings. A traditional bill of fare includes rib eye steak and such British favourites as bangers and mash (with Cumberland sausages), followed by hot treacle tart with clotted cream or custard for pudding. This is serious comfort food!
