Hackney Central, originally a railway station, is now a really posh two-level restaurant-cum-nightclub. Owners David Catlin and Billy Boyd along with DJ Ron put up quite a performance to keep the Hackney residents flocking to their den. Caribbean fusion food, like Sausage with Parsley Mash and Red onion Marmalade and Seafood Linguini in a tomato and garlic sauce will have you back soon enough. For drinks, you can choose a classic like the Martini or take your pick from a number of cocktails. Check out the salsa nights, every Friday. And if you're dining here on a Saturday, take advantage of the Comedy Central and Showtime act, hosted by Kennedy, and live performances by soul sensation 'DON-E'.
