Responsible for putting Savile Row on the map, Henry Poole's was established in 1806 and for nearly 200 years the company has been clothing the good and the great from around the world, from Charles Dickens to Winston Churchill and including plenty of European royals. Now a global operation, this has been the tailor of choice for centuries, as well as being a leading light in bespoke fashion. Today, aristocrats are joined by international businessman and famous faces from the press. But potential customers can't be in a rush for their suits. You have to go through the lengthy process of choosing the fabric and style, and then the suit can take up to eight weeks to arrive. But for this kind of quality, it's worth the time and the expense.
