This avant-garde institute, usually referred to as the ICA (Institute Of Contemporary Arts), hosts everything from talks and art exhibitions to films and theatrical productions. Regular club and film nights happen here also, and the bar is one of the grooviest places to hangout in town. That said, the bar is great for people watching. For something different, you can converse in the cafe or have a browse in the bookshop, which covers most of the angles and themes of contemporary art and culture.
