In fact, the family's very first store was opened in Cornwall in 1849 by Lobb's great grandfather, the first to learn the trade. All the traditional styles and materials are on offer, and a women's range is also available. Prices are high and you should be prepared to wait anywhere from six months to a year for your first pair.
