The King's Head Live is a hugely popular live music venue that hosts bands from across the musical spectrum and the only type of music that you definitely won't get here is Country and Western. Most performances start at around 8.30p and end around midnight. Watch out for the Channel 4 and MTV cameras that often broadcast from here. Top-shelf tribute bands (e.g. covers of Led Zeppelin, Blondie, The Jam) play every Sunday night, and virtually anyone who's anyone has played here at some point, so watch out for up-and-coming bands. A beer garden is open in the summer and there are a couple of pool tables and a juke box in the bar room, though the pub area of the venue is a bit grotty. There is disabled access but no wheelchair-accessible toilets.
