Perfect for pre-clubbing cocktails, Lab pulls a style-conscious crowd of characters who indulge in concoctions from caipirinhas to champagne, passing by some Lab originals like Soho Bulldog, Pomegranate Martini and Mimosa Frappe, expertly shaken by slick bar staff who are certainly easy on the eye. Popularity however, breeds queues, both for admission and for cocktails, so arriving early is advice worth taking. The decor, both inside and out, is unobtrusive and smartly understated with calming green stucco walls, comfy brown leather seating and simple wooden tables and stools.
