The Ladbroke Arms has avoided the recent trend of modernising its premises in the All Bar One mould. Luckily the food has retained a modern touch. It is to be expected that the most popular pub in Holland Park would also be very expensive. Try the pan-fried salmon with basil mashed potato and roast tomatoes or the cottechino sausage with celeriac puree and mustard fruits. The portions are nouvelle cuisine-style small, but the flavours are intense and helped along by an interesting wine list.
