Add a sumptuous, dignified touch to the afternoon with a traditional High Tea. The Lanesborough Hotel is suitably luxuriant and service is impeccable. Hot crumpets, fluffy sandwiches and fresh scones arrive with clotted cream, jams and lemon curd. There's an excellent range of teas, with speciality blends. Soups and sandwiches are available. Champagne with strawberries and cream could top it all off, that is if you've got any room left. Expect to pay around £20-£23 for set teas. A pianist tinkles away in the wonderful setting of the conservatory.
