This popular annual film festival showcases the best in Latin cinema, ranging from magical realism and historical epics to heartfelt romances and drama. Highlights since the festival's debut in 1990 have included such wonderfully well-known and successful films as Wim Wender's superb documentary "Buena Vista Social Club", Guilherme de Almeida Prado's film noir "The Magic Hour", "Like Water for Chocolate", and "Salsa." The festival also features the work of several Latin American artists. This is hispanic heaven for Latin American aficionados.
