As far as appearances go, Latitude is not the most likely candidate for a Japanese restaurant, but it is an altogether superb sushi experience. Comfortable, contemporary surroundings and subtle lighting conspire to create an upbeat and relaxing atmosphere, catering to a smart twenty-to-thirty-something clientele. The glamorous bar is an invitation to sip champagne cocktails, confirming that Latitude is as much a bar as it is a restaurant, and leather-bound menus and sushi holders are just some of the finer touches that set it apart. The sushi is excellent, particularly the California rolls, and therefore good value for money. You're sure to find the perfect accompaniment from the wine list, which features some rather exclusive labels.
