The Coliseum is where the ENO (English National Opera) and the English National Ballet have made their home. It's the largest theatre in London, with almost 2,400 seats. The inside of the theatre is beautiful and mildly ornate, bedecked in pale blue and gold, and the scenery on stage is always minimal but very effective. The Coliseum is excellently located, being situated between Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square, and is hard to miss with its trademark cupola.
