Pictured here is the Docklands' most famous and visible landmark, Canary Wharf Tower. Discover its history along with that of the area, from its Roman beginnings through the damage it suffered during World War Two to its present day gentrification. It's all brought to life via exhibitions and videos in the visitor centre. Watch the audio-visual material in the language of your choice, then peruse books and maps of Canary Wharf and Millwall Dock. An excellent purchase is the Waterside Pubs Guide for advice on the most picturesque drinking spots to head for. Gifts and refreshments are also on sale.
