Luc's is the perfect venue for a long, pleasant and bustling business lunch. It is not, however, the best choice for a meeting requiring great concentration. You have to be in fairly good health: it's a steep climb up the narrow staircase to this small restaurant. Once inside, you will be greeted by the friendly, if somewhat busy, staff. The food is very good and very French (grilled meats and fish all served with vegetables or excellent frites). There's also a plat de jour and a range of vegetarian cuisine. The house wine is around £12 and the wine list includes some unusual French gems such as the 1997 Tallyran Cuvee Prestige at just over £20.
