The Market Bar is the long time Portobello Road local. The decor is light and there's a lot of wood and old, drippy candles, which create a homey feel. The clientele is a happy mix of trustafarians and Rastafarians. Most are locals of the area and in general, they are a chatty, friendly bunch. The music edges towards funk/soul/jazz and on most Sundays afternoons and evenings, you can catch a live jazz band. A vibrant, unpretentious watering hole for any day or night of the week.
