Come summer or winter, the Brits head for alfresco dining at the tiniest glimpse of the sun, and The Market Place gets plenty of customers in fair weather. The bulk of the restaurant is set outside, so in poor weather you'll be confined to the small wooden building which comprises the interior. In summer however, the courtyard teems with a mixed crowd of sun-seeking diners. The menu is full of staple foods - burgers, salads and generously filled foccacia sandwiches. Prices for main meals range from just over £5 to £10. Watch out for the specials menu, which often has some surprising dishes at bargain prices.
