Originally the London home of Richard, the first Earl of Grosvenor in 1732, a man famous for his large collection of art and for hosting lavish, glittering parties for Royal and aristocratic families the world over. It was in 1927 that the Grosvenor house first became a hotel, however - a time when Park Lane was still no more than a quiet country lane. Today the hotel is one of London's most exclusive addresses, with the spacious rooms decked out in an modern style, but one that still preserves their Edwardian elegance. It is also home to is home to the award-winning restaurant Chez Nico.
