What was once the critically-acclaimed Coast restaurant is now in the hands of Oliver Peyton, who's already enjoyed success with the popular and trendy Mash in Great Portland Street. There's a regularly changing dinner menu, while lunch features unusual twists on modern standards - tomato, aubergine and feta cheese pizza, for example, or baked cod with artichokes and mash. Mash Mayfair is really rather huge, and its décor is modern and glamorous - guaranteed to make you feel like one of the beautiful people. And even though the restaurant is upstairs on the first floor, it has such huge windows you must be prepared to be seen.
